Valletta FC is one of the most successful club in Malta since he has won 25 league titles, 14 FA trophies and 12 super-cups . Not just that but in the season 2000-01 Valletta won 6 trophies. Valletta is the only club in Malta that won 6 trophies in one year.
The club was founded in 1943 after a merge of Valletta Prestons, Valletta St. Paul’s and Valletta United, the latter being a two-time league winner before the Second World War. That is why the first league title for Valletta was in 1914-15.
